How we keep you safe
- Assessment before every session. We check the pigment and your skin and ask about your health and any medication you take.
- Test pulse. Before the first session we check how the pigment and skin respond on a small area.
- Eye protection. Client and artist wear goggles or shields that block laser light.
- Careful settings. We set the energy based on how your skin responds, not "at maximum", and never schedule sessions faster than the skin recovers.
- Hygiene. Single-use modules and gloves; tools and surfaces are disinfected after every client.
- PRIME PLUS PRO Nd:YAG Q-switched laser with 1064 and 532 nm wavelengths.
When the procedure is not possible
We don't perform laser or remover removal in these cases:
- pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- cancer;
- epilepsy;
- blood clotting disorders;
- uncontrolled diabetes;
- a tendency to keloid scars;
- skin hypersensitivity to light (photodermatoses);
- acute infections, fever.
When to postpone
| Situation | How long to wait |
|---|---|
| Fresh tan, sunbed or self-tan on the area | 2–4 weeks, until the skin is lighter |
| Inflammation, irritation, rash or cold sores on the area | until fully healed |
| Peels, retinoids or acids on the area | 1–2 weeks |
| Isotretinoin (acne medication) | 6 months after finishing the course |
| Photosensitising medication (some antibiotics, etc.) | as agreed with your doctor |
| Fresh PMU or a tattoo that hasn't healed | at least 6–8 weeks |
| Cold, fever | until you recover |
If you have a chronic condition or take medication regularly, tell us at the consultation. Sometimes we ask you to check with your doctor first.
Lips and eyelids
- Lips. If you get cold sores, prevention starts in advance — we'll explain what to do at the consultation.
- Lash line and eyeliner. We don't work with eye inflammation, conjunctivitis, a stye or after recent eye surgery. We never use the laser on pigment on the mucous membrane.
Remover: what to know
- tell us if you have allergies or sensitive skin;
- a scab forms after the procedure — never pick it;
- remover sessions are 6–8 weeks apart.
How to prepare
- no tanning or sunbeds for 2 weeks before;
- no peels on the area for 3 days before;
- no alcohol the day before;
- come without makeup on the area; if you wear contact lenses, bring the case.
What to do afterwards — in the aftercare guide.
The final decision about the procedure is made by the artist at the consultation. If you're not sure whether it's right for you, message us and we'll advise.
