When PMU removal is needed
- brows have turned orange, grey, blue or green;
- the shape is dated, asymmetric or too wide;
- the pigment has migrated and the outline has blurred;
- several layers of old PMU that cannot be covered;
- the skin needs to be prepared for new permanent makeup.
How the laser works
We work with the PRIME PLUS PRO Nd:YAG Q-switched laser. It delivers a very short pulse — 5–7 nanoseconds. Pigment particles absorb the energy and shatter into tiny fragments while the surrounding skin barely heats up. The lymphatic system gradually clears the fragments, so the result appears over 4–8 weeks after each session.
The 1064 nm wavelength targets black, grey, blue and dark brown pigments. 532 nm targets warm, red and orange shades. We set the parameters after a test pulse on a small area.
Red, skin-tone and white pigments can darken under a laser. We check this with a test pulse, and if there is a risk we switch to a remover. More on choosing the method.
